Wireless and footloose!

Last year in Toronto, I didn't have a cell phone at all. I hated it... I was constantly missing contact with people and fearful that I'd miss great things while I was out.

Well, this year, I was one of the few people with a cell phone at the Frühead gathering, so I still missed contact with people and missed great things while I was out. But at least I could do so while I was actually out prowling the streets, not cowering in my hotel room.

Next year, everyone will be wireless. I hope.
